International co-operation
Access to data
Thanks to its intenational network the
Danish data Archive can disseminate
Danish research data to foreign data archives
and thus make data
available to researchers and users all over the
world. Likewise, Danish
users' access to foreign research data is
made possible by DDA's membership of several international
organisations.
International projects
DDA is a member of CESSDA - an organisation
for European social
science data archives - which co-operates on EU-projects, agreements on
access to holdings in national data archives etc.
Metadata documentation
DDA is active in the Data Documentation
Initiative - an international
co-operation to define standards for the
documentation of metadata. DDA has a member on the steering committee and
is involved in the development
of software tools for implementing the DDI
standard.
